Red Devon Cattle For Sale

I am selling my cows and would like to provide as much information as possible to ensure transparency and help potential buyers make informed decisions.
About Our Herd:
Our cows are run in a regenerative system, receiving just grass, hay, salt, and minerals (no grain). They are trained to a single polywire and accustomed to regular rotations.
Red Devon cows are known for their excellent breeding capabilities and good finishing on grass. Our original breeding stock was purchased from John Lindley at Heritage Trail Farm in Prosperity, PA. This includes the cows Rita and Sara, as well as the bull used for breeding. Peeper and Talullah were born on our farm and bred at Heritage Trail. All of the younger cattle (Tulip, yearling heifers, and this years’ calves) come from our bull Davey. Davey is registered with Red Devon USA. His papers and lineage can be reviewed at the bottom of this page.
Please note the size of each cow. Approximate weights are given below for each cow. The given weights are estimates and were arrived at using a tape measure to measure heart girth and length and using the standard formula. I cannot make any guarantees about actual size.
If you are looking for some cows that are on the smaller side, Peeper and Tulip are good choices.
I have included a video of each cow so that you can judge for yourself. The videos are linked in the bio of each cow. The links go to files I uploaded to a Google Drive folder.
Why We Are Selling:
Put simply, we are short on grass, water, and fencing.
A Note on Pricing:
The asking prices below are based on what we believe to be fair after establishing a starting point for a typical cow of the same age and breed and then discounting for any defects. You will be hard-pressed to find Red Devons at a better or more fair asking price than what we are asking.

- Details: Registered with Red Devon USA. Sara is a proven breeder with a gentle temperament, well-adapted to rotational grazing. She has “bottle teats” or “carrot teats,” which can make nursing difficult for calves. We have not had to intervene with her last two calves. I think she is worth giving a chance to, but I am willing to part with her at current cull cow auction rates for our area. This puts Sara’s value at $1750 plus $500 for her calf.

Make an Offer
If you think that I have misjudged the value of an individual cow, please feel free to make an offer or let me know. I will not sell individual cows for less than market value.
If you are looking for an even better deal than what is already offered, then my weak spot would be on an offer for the entire herd to make my life easier. I will prioritize any offer that is for all of the cows listed and am willing to offer an additional discount to make that happen, especially if we can make it happen fast.
I am not able to offer transportation. We are located near New Stanton, PA.
Note: The bull is already claimed by the previous owner.
I do have one additional cow + calf pair available. The cow is a 2 year old Jersey / Holstein cross. She has a heifer calf with her. We started to hand milk her when she first calved but did not have the time to keep up with it. We are asking $2000 for the cow + $500 for the heifer calf.
